Hi readers ! In this months issue we issue we got the opportunity to speak to an upcoming model and Shawn Moropa who is a filmmaker , content producer and photographer who has just introduced a platform to artists which aims to expose them more to the music mainstream. Both these young people are very dedicated to their work and their craft.
We have also included internships the youth can apply for on our Opportunities page. I also decided to write an article about toxic relationships and I've decided I'll have a series of articles on this because I believe this is the most underated topic these days. I think people tend to ignore the signs of a toxic relationship and we tend to act like we don't know the kind of influence those relationships have in our lives. Sometimes these relationships can have a great toll on your health physically, spiritually and mentally. I am going to make sure I cover as much as I can about this topic.
I also took it upon myself to introduce another topic to one of our economic issues being unemployment. Just like our previous articles whereby we spoke about why young people should think about starting their own businesses, in article . we talk about how it might be the solution to the high unemployment rate in our country.
For the young ones , we introduce journalism/ how to become a journalist in overall. This career advise is very important because you need to make sure you know what kind of career field you are going into and if you'd still like to pursue it. Its always good to follow something you are very passionate about.
When I was younger I wanted to become a doctor and neurologist. I chose science subjects in grade 9 and later realised that I didn't even like the subjects and that my dream to become a doctor and neurologist weren't going to come true after all. Years later I am very passionate and dedicated at becoming a entrepreneur and businesswoman.
My advise to those after me would be to make sure you want to pursue a career, do a lot of research, get a mentor and shadow your mentor for at least a week to a month so that you can be able to tell if that career is a career you'd like to pursue. Doing what you love and passionate about gives you more drive and ambition because nothing will stop you from becoming a version of yourself.
I hope you enjoy this issue of Glitch ❤
